Hope For The City

Hope For The City is a Minnesota-based, non-profit organization with a mission of ending poverty, hunger, and disease by collecting corporate surplus and distributing it to non-profit organizations that serve people in need.

Hope For The City is a member of Minnesota’s non-profit community and partners with organizations working together to fight poverty, hunger, and disease in Minnesota and beyond. In 2008, Hope For The City distributed over $35 million worth of food and non-food resources to more than 80 non-profit organizations we partner with in Minnesota, throughout the United States, and around the World.

For every $1 donated, Hope For The City can distribute more than $35 worth of important food and non-food resources to those in need.

Our supporters are our strength  – without them our important work could not get done.

Simply put, Hope For The City acquires society's excess production and gets it to those in great need, who would otherwise have little or no access to such goods.
